2018 Winter Holiday Assistance Program

The Counseling Department would like to send a big thank you to everyone who helped out with the Thanksgiving food baskets.  Everyone really came together as a team to help provide a full Thanksgiving meal, as well as additional food for the entire week for students and families in need.  Without your donations and support, none of it would have been possible.

Also, the Counseling Department will be helping students and families in need during the winter holidays by providing families with gift cards with the intention to purchase food or gifts for the winter holidays.  Ideally, gift cards can be to Target or Wal-Mart.

If you know of any student and their family who is in need for the winter holiday please contact Josh Hahn at jhahn[at][dot]us.  If you would like to make a donation please bring gift cards (please indicate the dollar amount for each card) to the Counseling Department no later than December 14, 2018.  Thank you!

Matching LHS Needs with LHS Community Resources
At Littleton High School we recognize that sometimes there is a need for community support to supplement our mission to create the best possible educational environment for our students and families.  In the past, our community has often helped meet those needs through creative solutions and personal generosity.  Lions Share has been created to foster that established tradition of sharing ideas and resources.
Immediate Needs:
Gift cards for local merchants, i.e., King Soopers, Target, Safeway, Walmart, etc.
To donate any of the items above or to donate other resources:
Please bring donated items to the Counseling Office or mail to:

Attention Students and Parents:  Did you know that Littleton High School offers free one-on-one tutoring during the school day, as well as after school?  Tutoring is provided by junior and senior National Honor Society (NHS) members in the LHS Counseling office.  We will partner students based on specific subject and curriculum needs, so we find an NHS member who is competent, comfortable, and confident with teaching their fellow peers in that subject or curriculum.  If you would like to obtain an ongoing tutor or a tutor to help out as needed please click on the link and fill out the Google form.
