Welcome to East Elementary School!

It is an honor and privilege to serve the amazing community of East Elementary. From the moment you walk into this school, you feel the positive energy and a true sense of community. Our staff is committed to maintaining and building upon the deep and dynamic history of East Elementary to ensure an engaging, fun, and caring environment for all of our incredible students. 

Through our partnership with the community and collaboration with our students, parents, and staff we will continue to grow the academics, engagement, and attributes of our students. It is important to us that we address the needs of the whole child to include both academics and social emotional needs, while having fun!  

We are very fortunate to have many involved parents, volunteers, and partnerships that seek to provide our students with exceptional experiences. This support makes East a positive and inclusive place for students to learn, grow, and thrive as individuals. We are able to offer exceptional programming including special education, gifted and talented, english language development, PE, Music, Art, embedded technology instruction, and many after school enrichment activities.  

East has a school wide Positive Behavior and Interventions Supports program (PBIS) that focuses on behaviors that support positive relationships and learning. Our HEART expectations stand for Helpful, Effort, Always be kind, Respectful, and Take responsibility. These expectations help our students grow in a positive learning environment. It is true when they say “Dragons have Heart at East Elementary.”
