How do I find out about middle schools?

Current fifth-grade students should begin the process of exploring middle schools within Littleton Public Schools. Each middle school holds several open houses/coffees to showcase their school during the fall and spring. Please check the middle school websites for information about these events. In the spring, counselors from each middle school visit fifth-grade classes to discuss their school's program. Information will be sent home to students from the middle schools at this time.

What do I need to do to send my child to middle school?

If your child lives within LPS and is planning on attending their home middle school, you do not need to submit any paperwork to our school. Your child will automatically be enrolled in the school of their attendance area. They will receive information directly from the middle school about any paperwork needed or upcoming events.

Open Enrollment at Middle School

The open enrollment period for the district is from the beginning of October through the end of January. If you live within LPS and your student would like to attend a different school other than their home school, OR you live outside of the boundaries of Littleton Public Schools, you must submit an open enrollment application for the middle school.
