Educator & Parent Resources

One of the best resources for parents and educators of gifted children is the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). This professional organization has long served as the premier advocacy group for supporting the education of gifted students, professional development, and research in our field.

Another great resource and one closer to home is our state affiliate, the Colorado Association for Gifted & Talented (CAGT). CAGT is one of the key advocacy groups leading the way for supporting gifted education in the state of Colorado.

SENG (Social and Emotional Needs of the Gifted) organization is dedicated to fostering environments in which gifted adults and children, in all their diversity, understand and accept themselves and are understood, valued, nurtured, and supported by their families, schools, workplaces and communities. This organization provides a website, monthly newsletter, and many other resources as well as frequent webinars (for a fee) that are helpful to parents as they work through the challenge of raising a gifted child.
