Wilder Community Parent Participation Preschool Class Schedule:

4-day class
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings 9:00AM-1:00PM
Intended for 4 year old children.
Tuition is $495 per month

3-day class 
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings 8:45AM- 12:45 PM
Intended for 4 year old children.
Tuition is $400 per month

2-day class 
Thursday and Friday mornings 8:45AM-12:45PM  
Intended for 3 year old children.
Tuition is $310 per month

Discovery Friday 
Friday mornings 9:00AM-1:00PM
$35 per Day

Wilder Community Parent Participation Preschool is a part of Littleton Public Schools and is housed in the Columbine United Church, located next to Wilder Elementary School. Our program allows children the opportunity to develop physically and mentally at their own rate, in a rich play based environment that promotes exploration.

Our Staff

Our Staff 
Each class is staffed by experienced teachers with degrees in Elementary or Special Education. Our teachers provide an empathetic, nurturing environment while understanding each child's developmental goals. With a 10:1 child to adult ratio, individual attention is easily achieved.

Julie Peterson, Director 
Julie Peterson has an Associates of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Arapahoe Community College. She is an active member of both the Colorado Association of the Education for Young Children and the National Association for the Education for Young Children. Julie and her husband, Larry, have three daughters who are graduates of Wilder Community Preschool. Julie has been a teacher at Wilder Community Preschool since 1991, and the director since 1998.

Jane Carlson, Lead Teacher 
Jane Carlson has a B.A. in Psychology from Lake Forest College, and a M.A. in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She taught in Denver Public Schools for 10 years, including one year of kindergarten. She is an active volunteer in many neighborhood organizations and in the Littleton Public Schools. Jane's younger son is a Wilder Preschool graduate and she is an experienced “helping mom” as well. Jane has been teaching at Wilder Community Preschool since 1999.

Betsy Henry, Lead Teacher 
Betsy Henry is a graduate of Indiana University and holds a degree in Elementary Education. She taught third grade for five years and was a substitute teacher in Denver for two years. She has taught at St. James Mothers' Day Out program and was in charge of the 2-year-old class. Betsy also is an experienced helping mom at our school where her son attended for two years. Betsy has been teaching at Wilder Community Preschool since 2001.

Leslie Street, Lead Teacher
Leslie Street has a B.S from Applied Human Sciences from Colorado State University. She is an active volunteer with Littleton Public Schools, the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop and the Girl Scouts. Leslie's son is a Wilder Community Preschool graduate. Leslie has been at Wilder Community Preschool since 2004.

Tami Gomes,  Lead Teacher
Tami has a M.A. in Special Education from San Francisco State University.  She has been teaching here at preschool since 2014. Tami and her husband, Dave, have three children, Audrey, Mason, and Daphne who all attended Wilder Preschool.
