  • Start times change for 2018-19 school year

    Beginning in August, 2018: Most elementary schools will start school at 8 a.m. High schools will start school at 8:30 a.m. Middle schools will start school at 8:54 a.m. The decision to change school start times followed months of research analysis, parent presentations and extensive opportunities for parent, student and staff input through public forums, open houses, and surveys.   • Kindergarten Registration

  • Colorado Gives Day 12.5.17

    Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Through the work and efforts of the LPS Foundation, schools and PTO's in the LPS district can set up a giving page to raise money for their school.  Ralph Moody Elementary PTO has set up a page  to encourage and enable our families and friends of Ralph Moody Elementary to donate to our school.  Please visit our school's donation page HERE.    For more information about CO Gives Day, please visit https://www.coloradogives.org/cogivesday  Thank you for your support!

  • Recommended 3rd grade instructional resource for English language arts to be on display at ESC

    The recommended third grade instructional resource for English language arts, ReadyGEN, will be on display at the Education Services Center from December 14, 2017 through January 19, 2018. Learning Services is recommending the comprehensive program, ReadyGEN by Pearson to be adopted and implemented as the third grade instructional resource for English language arts. This resource will support and enhance the instruction of Colorado Academic Standards and the Littleton Public Schools Universal Literacy Framework. This recommendation comes at the conclusion of input from Elementary principals and a review and recommendation from the literacy resource task-force. ReadyGEN instructional resource will be on display in the foyer of the Board Room at the Education Services Center (5776 South Crocker Street, Littleton) from December 14th to January 19th. A community information session to answer questions will be hosted in the foyer of the Board Room on January 11th from 4:00-5:30. The recommendation will be presented to the Board of Education for discussion on December 14, 2017.  

  • District Chess Tournament - December 2nd

    The District Chess Tournament is on Saturday, December 2nd at Newton Middle School, 8:00 am-3:00 pm.  Please turn in your registration form and payment in an envelope, Attn: Melinda Ness.   • Attend a High School Showcase Night

    LPS high schools welcome the Class of 2022! All three Littleton Public Schools high schools are hosting showcase events to help this year’s 8th graders, interested high school students and their families learn more about the high school experience in Littleton Public Schools. Events are planned as follows: Littleton High School Lion Pride Preview Wednesday, November 1, 2017 6:30 p.m. - LHS Theater Heritage High School Freshman Showcase Tuesday, November 7, 2017 6 - 8 p.m. - HHS Theater Arapahoe High School Freshman Showcase Monday, December 4, 2017 6 - 8 p.m. - Sitting Eagle Gym Attendees will have the chance to learn more about: Comprehensive core academics and elective offerings College preparatory curriculum Advanced placement courses Concurrent enrollment STEM offerings International Baccalaureate Programme Performing Arts Athletics Activities LPS high schools have been featured in Newsweek’s “Top High Schools in America” and 5280’s “Top High Schools in Denver.” More than 90 percent of all LPS graduates say they are college-bound. The Class of 2017 earned more than $40 million in college scholarships. Each year, a large number of graduating seniors earn National Merit, Boettcher, Presidential and military academy scholarships. All three high schools are highly competitive in athletics, STEM and the performing arts. All three high schools are currently accepting applications for out-of-district students.
