• Kindergarten First Week of School Schedule

    The Kindergarteners have a modified schedule for the first week of school.   Please note the following important dates & times: August 16...........Back to School Night at 5:45 p.m.   August 17...........Classes meet from 9:01-10:20 a.m. Parents  meet with the principal & other staff during this time in the gym   August 18...........Regular day of school 9:01 a.m. - 3:49 p.m.   August 21 & 22...Kindergarten Assessment Days - you only come for the 20 minute window your student has been assigned for their assessment. You do not come to school at all on the day your student is not being assessed. This time was sent to you in a mailing the end of May. If you registered over the summer, our registration secretary will contact you with your assigned assessment time when she returns around August 10th.   August 23...........Wednesday PLC Late Start Day for all students K-5 10:01 a.m. - 3:49 p.m. (All Wednesdays are one hour PLC Late Start Days throughout the 2017-18 school year.)   August 24-25.......Regular school days 9:01 a.m. - 3:49 p.m.  

  • Wednesday Late Start All Year 2017-18

    Please note that every Wednesday during the 2017-18 school year will be an hour late start day for Professional Learning Communities (PLC's).  This means at Ralph Moody the first bell will ring at 10:01 am and classes will begin at 10:06 am.  Click here to see what opportunities are available through our SACC (School Age Child Care) program.  More information...

  • Report Cards & Class Placement

    Third trimester report cards will only be available via the parent portal. Report cards will be available for you to view May 26 (end of day). In July, the calendar will change to the 2017-2018 school year, so any information regarding 2016-2017 is no longer available. Should you need to access your student’s grades after that date, you can access them through the transcript. On July 10, you can preview your student’s teacher for next year and pay fees online if you wish.

  • New Student Registration

    Littleton Public Schools offers many educational choices to resident and nonresident parents and students. State law allows non-resident parents to enroll their children in LPS or any other Colorado school without paying tuition when state and district guidelines are followed and space is available. Littleton Public Schools is the preferred choice for more than 3,000 students who live outside district boundaries. Register ​new students ​by completing an online pre-registration form and meeting with the LPS central registrar at the Education Services Center. Please bring proof of residency (for residents or acceptance letter from the school for nonresidents)​, child’s birth certificate, child’s immunization record, and individualized learning plans and transcripts, if applicable. Central registration is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Education Services Center, 5776 S. Crocker St., Littleton, CO 80120. Questions? Contact the registrar at 303.347.4360. School enrollment is completed by visiting your child’s school ​to obtain class assignments and other school​-specific​ information.

  • Recommended K-2 instructional resource for English language arts, Superkids, is on display at the ESC through June 22

    Learning Services is recommending the comprehensive program, Superkids by Zaner-Bloser to be adopted and implemented as the K - Grade 2 instructional resource for English language arts. This resource will support and enhance the instruction of Colorado Academic Standards, and the Littleton Public Schools Universal Literacy Framework. This recommendation comes at the conclusion of input from Elementary principals and a review and recommendation from the literacy resource task-force. Superkids instructional resource will be on display in the foyer of the Board Room at the Education Services Center (5776 South Crocker Street, Littleton) from June 5th through June 22nd. A community information session to answer questions will be hosted in the foyer of the Board Room on June 15th from 3:00 - 5:00. The recommendation will be presented to the Board of Education for discussion on June 8.

Adult lunch is offered for $3.85. Ride the complimentary Summer Lunch Bus to and from Field Elementary for lunch. The bus will make stops around the area including a stop at Moody Elementary.   • LPS Board of Education approves changes to 17-18 calendar; includes weekly, one-hour late start for Professional Learning Communities

    At its regularly scheduled meeting April 27, the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education approved changes to the 2017-2018 school-year calendar that provide a one-hour late start every Wednesday for teachers to meet in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). The Board indicated early on that a decision to move to weekly PLCs would be made by the end of April in order to give staff and families time to plan. LPS and the Littleton Education Association (LEA) have reached a tentative agreement on this weekly PLC calendar. Pending LEA ratification, the entire negotiated agreement will come to the Board of Education for final approval on May 11.
