ALP (Advanced Learning Plan)

ALP stands for Advanced Learning Plan.  At the beginning of the school year, each GT student meets with the GT facilitator to discuss goals and academic needs and concerns. Parents receive an electronic copy of their student's written plan. The plans are also made available for students’ teachers so that they are aware of each student's strengths. This ALP process occurs in the Fall and in the Spring to monitor students' progress.
