  • Recommended K-2 instructional resource for English language arts, Superkids, is on display at the ESC through June 22

    Learning Services is recommending the comprehensive program, Superkids by Zaner-Bloser to be adopted and implemented as the K - Grade 2 instructional resource for English language arts. This resource will support and enhance the instruction of Colorado Academic Standards, and the Littleton Public Schools Universal Literacy Framework. This recommendation comes at the conclusion of input from Elementary principals and a review and recommendation from the literacy resource task-force. Superkids instructional resource will be on display in the foyer of the Board Room at the Education Services Center (5776 South Crocker Street, Littleton) from June 5th through June 22nd. A community information session to answer questions will be hosted in the foyer of the Board Room on June 15th from 3:00 - 5:00. The recommendation will be presented to the Board of Education for discussion on June 8.  

  • Free Summer Lunch for Kids & Teens

    Littleton Public Schools Summer Food Service Program Field Elementary School 5402 S Sherman Way Littleton, CO 80121 303-347-4483 June 5 – July 28 Serving lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Closed July 3rd and 4th The Summer Food Service Program provides FREE lunches for all children ages 1-18 during the long summer vacation. Adult lunch is offered for $3.85. Ride the complimentary Summer Lunch Bus to and from Field Elementary for lunch. The bus will make stops around the area including a stop at Moody Elementary.   • LPS Board of Education approves changes to 17-18 calendar; includes weekly, one-hour late start for Professional Learning Communities

    At its regularly scheduled meeting April 27, the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education approved changes to the 2017-2018 school-year calendar that provide a one-hour late start every Wednesday for teachers to meet in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). The Board indicated early on that a decision to move to weekly PLCs would be made by the end of April in order to give staff and families time to plan. LPS and the Littleton Education Association (LEA) have reached a tentative agreement on this weekly PLC calendar. Pending LEA ratification, the entire negotiated agreement will come to the Board of Education for final approval on May 11.   • ETAC Application - Become a Member for the 17-18 school year

    If you are interested in technology and would like to contribute ideas to technology initiatives in LPS, please apply to ETAC (Educational Technology Advisory Committee) today! (For an explanation of the membership categories, please see the ETAC page on the district website. Ideas that have helped LPS become recognized as one of the most technologically advanced districts in America began with ETAC! The ETAC committee meets on the first Wednesday of each month for two hours (6:00 - 8:00 PM) to provide vital advice on district technology. You do not need to be a technology expert to join the ETAC...you just need an interest in what technology can do for student learning.     The Annual Family Check-In is available on your Parent Portal account. The Annual Family Check-In asks you to: Review your contact information Review the names & contact information for Emergency Contacts Update your student's health information Give permissions for your student (field trip, media, electronic communication, etc.) You will find the link on the lower left hand side beneath the tabs.

  • Summer Reading Project

    Hey students, as you're soaking up the summer sun grab a good book and read... 7th and 8th grade students have a Summer Reading Project to complete prior to the start of school in August.  Get more information here- Happy Reading!

  • Daily Announcement 5/25/17

    It's the last day of school!!! We have a fun-filled (and whip cream filled) day ahead of us as we rotate through different activities, including tossing pies in the faces of our teachers!  We dismiss at the regular time of 2:43 today, and buses are running as normal.  Have a fantastic last Friday, and a safe summer!

  • Daily Announcement 5/25/17

    Happy 8th Grade Continuation Day!  Before we get to tonight's main event, we have a modified schedule (Blocks 1-7, then CORE+) and locker clean out.  After we've cleaned lockers, and cleaned up in our best attire, we'll be ready for the 8th Grade Continuation Ceremony at 5:30- doors open at 4:30 and please remember this is a ticketed event.  Congrats to our Puma Class of 2017!
