Staff and parents have worked hard during the school year to give your children the best learning opportunities possible.  As summer approaches, please remember that the best gift parents can give children is to provide them with daily opportunities to read, write, and practice math.  All students will need practice in these areas during the summer months in order to maintain the skill level they achieved by the end of the school year.  Teachers in grades K-4 have prepared some suggestions for summer homework which will provide practice for basic skills (reading, writing, math computation, and problem solving) during the summer vacation.

Students whose parents sign off on reading and writing logs, practice math through Dreambox (kindergarten only) , IXL (current students have their IXL log in information), participate in a library program, or complete the Summer Bridge Activity booklet, will be awarded a trip to the treasure box when they present their summer work to the classroom teacher by September 1st.
