The Lenski PTO is looking for someone who is available and willing to shadow/partner with Heather Hein to learn about and take over the Lenski Yearbook Lead board position for the next school year (2017/2018). The job description is below. Please read and respond if you're interested in learning, sharing, and helping.
 
(1) attend and/or follow monthly PTO meetings (approx. 90 minutes per meeting), (2) support team of +/- 5 volunteer project leads through out the year (these folks help YOU design, manage, expedite the yearbook project), (3) familiarize yourself with yearbook needs and goals, processes, and software (4) introduce yourself to all members of your team and update them on all pertinent PTO decisions and discussions, (5) approximately 3 months before the release of the yearbook, email the support committee and verify the plans for cover art, LWA announcements, editing and proofing, gathering pictures from teachers and parents, managing orders, delivery, and distribution, (6) try to attend most/all Yearbook meetings throughout the school year, (7) provide support for the Yearbook staff and support committee (be available, be accessible, help fill gaps). 
 
This position is perfect for someone who loves Lenski, technology, organization, writing, editing, data entry, photography, graphic design, and publishing. If you have the time and heart to dedicate to Lenski's end of year Yearbook then please let us know!

Lenski PTO Board Position Available: Ways and Means

   

The Lenski PTO is looking for someone who is available and willing to shadow/partner with Sheryl Gaston to learn about and take over the important Ways & Means board position for the next school year (2017/2018). The job description is below. Please read and respond if you're interested in learning, sharing, and helping.
 
Ways & Means: (1) attend monthly PTO meetings (approx 90 minutes per meeting), (2) support team of +/- 8 volunteer project leads through out the year (these folks help YOU design, manage, expedite each event), (3) familiarize yourself with various current (and potential future) service projects, (4) introduce yourself to all members of your team and update them on all pertinent PTO decisions and discussions, (5) approx 2-3 weeks before each event, email the project lead and verify the plans for newsletter articles, online signups, and "day of event" needs and goals, (6) try to attend most/all Ways & Means events throughout the school year, (7) provide support for Ways & Means events (be available, be accessible, help fill gaps). 
 
Past events include (not limited to): Student Fund Run, Annual giving campaign, Family Bingo Night, Spring Auction, King Soopers Grocery cards, Target Red Card, Streets of Southglenn, Box Tops for Education, Spirit Wear
