The 2017 Littleton Stride is Sunday, October 29th!!
 
It's time for THE STRIDE!
  1. Raise money for a good cause: YOUR CHILDREN! In PE we have earned new: scooters, jump ropes, basket balls, footballs, volleyballs and WINDY our new giant fan to name a few.
  2. Raise money for LPS that teachers can use to make your students lessons more effective and fun. Lenski received a grant for 5 new bikes to use in PE classes this year.
  3. Get Prizes
    • Long sleeved T-shirt; cotton for kids and performance material for adults
    • Free food-think pancakes!
    • Stride Trophy
    • Medals or ribbons if you finish in the top places of your age group
    • Earn running club feet charms: 5k=3miles= 3 feet, 10K=6 feet
    • Extra recess- the class from each grade level that has the most people register for the stride will win an extra recess.
    • Extra PE- Each class that has at least 10 students registered will be entered into a drawing for an extra 30 minute PE class of Space Invaders! Class with the most registrations also wins an extra 30 minute PE class of Space Invaders!
  4. It's fun to get together with your friends and their teachers.
  5. You will get in a good workout for your body!

1. Return the paper registration that is in your child's backpack to the Lenski School Office by 3pm Friday October 20th . (Best option for T-shirt delivered before race to school.)
2. Go online at runthestride.com through noon Friday October 27.
3. Register in person at Boulder Running Company through 6pm Tuesday October 23th.
*(Race day registration is also available but Lenski will NOT receive credit towards the competition.)  
  • Only 5K and 10k participants count towards the competition, and only these race participants receive long sleeve t-shirts.
  • Signing up for the "Kid's Fun Run" does not count toward the competition and you will not receive a t-shirt -so please sign up for the 5 or 10K but feel free have your child compete in the fun run the day of the race if that is your desired race. Students do not need to "run" the 5k race (walking permitted) and are not required to go the whole distance.
Can't Come to the Stride?  Consider Making A Donation - Or -Think, buy a T-shirt!  You will still receive a t-shirt to enjoy while helping your child's class win the grade level recess and LPS fund their excellent education!
