Our computer lab was an inspiring place to be the week of January 29th-February 2nd!  Thank you to our Tech Advisory/PTO for providing the funds needed to bring Engineering for Kids to Lenski for a week of robotics for grades 1st-5th. Our 4th and 5th graders worked with Lego EV3 Mindstorm robots.  Students programmed them to sense and respond to different values of reflecting light and objects at a certain distance.  Grades 1st-3rd built and programmed Lego WEDO motorized Windmills which also included a motion sensor feature. Instructors and owners of Engineering for Kids, Mr Syd and MIss Iris did an incredible job of teaching our students the engineering and computer science concepts needed to complete the robotics projects in a very short period of time!  Engineering for Kids is located in the Streets of Southglenn and offer Engineering and Computer Science camps during  school and summer breaks...they fill up fast so don't miss out!
