PTO

Welcome

Our Mission:
Investing in a strong leadership foundation in order to build relationships between students, parents, staff, and the community.

The Eugene Field Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is an organization of parents and staff committed to assisting the school in attaining the highest level of education for our students. No membership dues are necessary to be part of this organization. If you are a parent, guardian, or staff member of a Field student, you are automatically a member of PTO!

The PTO sponsors numerous special events, educational programs, and fundraisers throughout the year. Please come to the monthly PTO meetings (dates and times to be announced) to learn more about your child's school and how you can help the school be more effective in helping students achieve their dreams.   For more information, you may leave a message for our PTO President at 303-347-4475.

Volunteer Opportunities

FUNDRAISERS

BOXTOPS: We are collecting Boxtops for education. You may drop them off in the office, or send them to school with your student.
ABC FUND RAISER: Our biggest fund raiser of the year! Students sell a variety of wrapping paper, gifts, and yummy chocolates to friends and family. Profits enable us to purchase much needed books, equipment, field trips, and other extras! Volunteers are needed to help distribute purchased items among classrooms in the middle of October (1-2 hours).

SCHOOL SPIRIT EVENTS

FAMILY HARVEST RUN: What do you get when you mix fitness and fun? We’ve got it! SCHOOL PROGRAMS

LIBRARY HELP: We could really use help with checking out books during your child’s regular weekly trip to the library. By helping Mrs. Bossart, she can spend more one-on-one time helping the kids find the books they are looking for. Also, she could always use help with getting books back on their shelves when they are returned. If interested, please contact Mrs. Bossart at kbossart[at]lps.k12.co[dot]us

CLIMBING WALL/FITNESS ASSESSMENT: Assist Mr. Wetzel supervising kids and helping them into harnesses. Climbing wall is offered throughout the year, but scheduling may vary (2 hour shifts). He could also use help during Fitness stations and recording results (1-4 hr. shifts depending on your time).
