I am the proud Principal of Eugene Field Elementary School where we believe that EVERY student should have the opportunity to serve in a leadership role during the school year. Our school is focused on making sure that all kids learn and grow at a rigorous rate and that every student understands their goals and what it will take to achieve them. I am honored to serve alongside the dedicated staff and teachers at Field Elementary and to work with such amazing students and their families on a daily basis. When I'm not at school enjoying the Field students and their families, I'm at home with my own family. My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years, and we have two teenaged kids who keep us busy! Our son is a Sophomore at Heritage High School where he is on the golf team, and our daughter is an 8th grader at Euclid Middle School and loves riding and training horses. When we have time, we enjoy getting out in the beautiful Colorado sunshine as a family, playing golf, riding horses, skiing, biking and hiking. If I haven't yet met you, I would love to have the opportunity to meet you and your family and take you on a tour of this very special school.

I am thrilled to join the Field Elementary team, serving as the Assistant Principal! Prior to coming to Field, I spent four years as an Assistant Principal at Sheridan High School. I have also had educational experience in the classroom as a teacher, an instructional coach, a professional development facilitator, and a cross country coach. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado and I have a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. I have a strong belief in lifelong learning, therefore am currently working on my Doctorate in Executive Leadership and Educational Equity from the University of Colorado at Denver. My dissertation will focus on women in educational leadership. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Charlie (a proud Arapahoe High School graduate!), and our beautiful 16-month- old daughter, Charlotte. I like to hike, run, watch musical theatre, and travel. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve at Field and look forward to learning more about the community and working with you all. Cheers to a wonderful year ahead!
