Research shows that when parents are actively involved in a child's education, student achievement increases. We know that our kids love to see their parents at school. It gives them a sense of belonging and it lights up their hearts to see their parents' faces in the school environment. We know it is not easy for parents to find the time to come to school, so we try to provide as many opportunities as we can through regular schedules (helping in classrooms, clerical support, participation through our Parent-Teacher Organization) and through one-time occurrences, like helping at events, chaperoning field trips, and supporting other activities. I am here to help those who want to volunteer find a time and a place to do so.
