Nine Arapahoe students attended Railsbridge on Friday and Saturday. Railsbridge is an opportunity for young women to learn more about coding and, specifically, about programming using Ruby on Rails. Friday evening is devoted to "InstallFest", installing all the various tools you need to program using Ruby on Rails. Saturday is then devoted to learning the programming language Ruby, and then creating a web-app using the Rails environment.

Most attendees at Railsbridge are typically adult women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, so it was great to see AHS students join and fit right in.
