Mission: Pathways exists to strengthen students' academic abilities and to equip them with the skills to face the problems that have impeded their success. We address our students' academic, social, and emotinoal needs by providing them with a challenging, supportive, and stable environment.

- 8th and 9th grade non-traditional, experiential program
- LPS District curriculum presented through a variety of approaches and activities
- Assessment/Diagnostic Profile including CSAP, Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) testing, learning styles inventory and multiple intelligences profile
- School culture and climate emphasized
- Experiential learning, community involvement, outdoor education opportunities and leadership opportunities
- High school credit given for ninth grade coursework
