Kindergarten students

Traditionally, the state of Colorado funds half-day kindergarten programs in its public schools.  Beginning in the fall of 2008, Colorado public schools will receive funding for a limited number of free, full-day kindergarten programs.

Because we believe strongly in the importance of early childhood education,  all LPS elementary schools offer a variety of full-day kindergarten options.  Some are tuition-based, and some are free, funded through state or federal monies or self supported.

Students are eligible for kindergarten if they turn five years of age on or before September 15 of the year of enrollment.
