Holley Brown of LHS Earns Prestigious American Visions Medal

Littleton High School student Holley Brown earned an American Visions Medal in the fashion category from the 2017 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers. This year, more than 330,000 works of art and writing were submitted and less than 1% were recognized at the national level. Students who received these top awards are invited to attend a ceremony at the world-famous Carnegie Hall on June 8th and to participate in showcase events at Parsons School for Design at The New School and Pratt Institute’s Pratt Manhattan Gallery in New York City.

The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their remarkable work to the world through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Program alumni include Andy Warhol, Sylvia Plath, Truman Capote, Stephen King, Lena Dunham and Zac Posen.
