Euclid Posters Sweep Lions Club Contest

Euclid Middle School swept the local Lions Club International Peace Poster competition with first, second and third place awards. Seventy-five Euclid students entered posters.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the contest, the theme of the 2017-2018 Peace Poster Contest was "The Future of Peace."

Congratulations to this year’s winners in the Peace Poster Contest: Jill Hansen - 1st, Katie Sarko - 2nd and Isabella Molina - 3rd. Posters advance through several judging levels: local, district, multiple district and international. Jill Hansen’s first place poster moved on to the next level of the contest and placed 3rd at the district competition.

For the last 30 years Lions clubs around the world have proudly sponsored the contest in local schools and youth groups. The contest encourages young people worldwide to express their visions of peace.
