All juniors will take either the SAT or the SAT with Essay on April 10, 2018. Both of these options are provided at no cost to the student. For students who want to take the SAT with Essay, CollegeBoard will open a registration window to OPT-IN for the essay portion from January 16th through February 14th.

Parents or students must contact CollegeBoard to register for the essay by going online at https://account.collegeboard.org/login/login and accessing the student’s personal account, or by calling 866-917-9030, Option 2. After February 14th, students will no longer be able to add or remove the Essay test in their CollegeBoard account.
