LPS is committed to promoting a safe and healthy "cyber climate" for all students. This site is designed to provide a central location for resources to support parents in a world of ever-changing technology.
SAFE2TELL is designed to help YOU--students, teachers, and parents--anonymously report anything that is scaring or endangering you, your friends, or your family.
Reporting Safety Concerns
We encourage all parents and community members to help keep kids safe by reporting any safety concerns or suspicious online behavior. This can include things such as harassment, threats to harm others, suicide, stalking, or potential abuse of a child.
EMERGENCIES: (Serious Threats, Suicide, Abuse, Imminent Danger, etc.) Call 9-1-1 or your local Sheriff or Police Department.
NON-URGENT CONCERNS: Contact your child's school OR LPS Safety and Security at (303) 347-3420.
You may also use Colorado's anonymous tip line,SAFE2TELL, to anonymously report anything that is scaring or endangering you, your friends, or your family.
is a (free) curriculum designed to empower a generation of responsible and engaged digital citizens. It provides a framework and resources to help teachers, families, and other trusted adults:
Cell phones are amazing devices but all kids need support and guidance related to safe and healthy use of a personal phone. "Smartphones" provide internet access either through the cell service or a wi fi connection. Many devices like ipods, iphones, and ipads can access the internet through a wi fi connection even without cellular service. In LPS, we have filters on our wired networks and wi fi networks, but students can still access the internet through unfiltered cellular service on their phone.
