  • Building improvements include: new gym floor; lighting in main hallways, gym and cafeteria updated; new curtains in library and on the stage; landscape upgraded; playground has new blacktop area and equipment
  • A caring community that strives to meet the social and academic needs of all students

School Improvement Goals 2009 Update

  • By 2012, 95% of students will be proficient in language arts as measured by the LPS grade level determination goal
  • By 2012, 64% of gifted/talented students in grades 3-5 will score advanced on the reading CSAP
  • Twain will successfully implement the Positive Behavior Support program by 2012 as measured by a score of 80/80 on the evaluation tool
