LPS K-2 Summer School

Research shows that students lose some of their skills during the summer months. This state-funded program will keep students engaged in literacy and math over the course of 7 weeks during June and July. Students are selected for this program based on progress in literacy and math and/or by teacher recommendation. The goal of this program is to help current kindergarten, first and second grade students maintain academic skills over the summer so that they are ready to hit the ground running in the fall.
