  • District Emergency Procedures Handbook is in place and up-to-date.
  • District Emergency Operations Center is established and equipped with dedicated phone lines.
  • Conduct annual table top emergency response simulations.
  • District Emergency Planning Committee is in place and meets monthly (Membership includes law enforcement and fire department representatives).
  • LPS staff members attended a one week Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) multi-hazard safety program for schools.
