Big enough to serve you; small enough to know you!
Littleton Public Schools encompasses 28 square miles and serves the majority of the City of Littleton
, Town of Columbine Valley,
and portions of the municipalities of Bow Mar
, Centennial
, Greenwood Village
, and the City of Englewood.
Located south of downtown Denver, these communities are considered part of the Denver metropolitan area.
A mid-sized district, award-winning Littleton Public Schools (LPS) is large enough to offer a wide variety of educational opportunities, yet small enough to meet students' individual needs in a caring and personalized environment.
LPS educates approximately 15,500 students in Grades K–12. There are 13 elementary schools (K–5), four middle schools (6–8), and three high schools (9–12). LPS also offers three alternative education schools and two charter schools (K–8). Many options for preschool and either half- or full-day kindergarten are available. The Village 2 & Under Program serves children ages six weeks to three years and is the first of its kind in Colorado to be affiliated with a public school district.
