The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is made up of representatives from every district school, community members at large, and principal representatives. The committee receives an annual charge, or list of duties and activities, from the Board of Education. The committee meets monthly to discuss district issues, activities, and programs. School representatives serve as the link between their school accountability committee and the District Accountability Committee.
DAC meetings are held in the Board Room at the Education Services Center on the third Wednesday of the month, September to May, from 7-9 pm. Meeting dates for the 2008-2009 school year are as follows:
September 17, 2008; 5:45 pm; Training Workshop for principals and school accountability committee chairs; 7 pm, regular DAC meeting.
